Founded in 1948, MPP is a global provider of custom-engineered powder metal (PM) and metal injection molding (MIM). Since starting as a single location in Logan, OH, MPP’s continuous pursuit of new technologies and capabilities has led to a growing global footprint. MPP has grown its manufacturing operations throughout Indiana, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and has an international facility in Suzhou, China.
MPP is headquartered on the northside of Indianapolis, Indiana where the offices for its senior management, staff, and technical center are located.
Since 1966, MPP has won MPIF part-of-the-year award 45 times in the ferrous, nonferrous, stainless steel, and market categories.

Metal Powder Products acquires Carbon City Products (now MPP Ford Road), bringing in expertise in gears and high-performance materials.
Metal Powder Products acquires Powdered Metal Products (now MPP Washington Street), expanding high tonnage capacity and aluminum capabilities.
Metal Powder Products acquired by Mill Point Capital LLC.
Metal Powder Products acquires Netshape Technologies (now MPP Falls Creek, MPP Campbellsburg, MPP Rockwood, MPP Noblesville, and Netshape Technologies [Suzhou]). HQ moved to Noblesville, IN. Company name changed to MPP.
MPP acquires Proform Powdered Metals and broadens business to deliver high-quality sintered bronze bearing, bushings, and spacers.
MPP celebrates 75 years of business.
